"WHITE SHOES" The First Video From: DAD WORKS HARD

Well here it is! The first video from DAD WORKS HARD off the new LP "Saturday Night Movie" !!

The video crew lost the audio for the entire opening sequence after shooting so we had to "Foley" it in here at The Trench…..every sound you hear prior to the music track we re-created and laid in, including the secrete song playing inside the house when the door first opens and as Barker tumbles down the steps…….it was a challenge and really fun. My favorite sound is when Barker hits the car with his hand as he lunges into it to get away…..it's the sound of him hitting my washing machine……Enjoy!

Crazy bout Her Gravy!!

The new LP from Country Swing Hall of Fame Icon Tommy Thomsen "Crazy bout Her Gravy" is being mastered this week and was sent of last week! Excited to get it back!! Gonna be another fantastic release on Red Newt Records!

Winter Is Here!!

So nasty I haven't left the studio on a day off! having fun updating the rig and trying out new plugins though!

RIP Bobby Keys!

So lucky to have spent a day in the studio with him and to hear many many stories….crazy spirit this man! I TRIED TO DO my best "Stones" conga/drum/perc  channeling………...

Back at it............

A great (and long ) day revising the Melville basic tracks with Tim for the 1st time since we laid them down.....rewarding and off to the races we go!

Foley For "White Shoes"

Final sound design was laid in for the Dad Works Hard video "White Shoes"…..after filming, THE AUDIO WAS LOST so we re-created every sound for the opening scene here…quite a chore and quite a gas!!

Tommy Thomsen LP a Wrap!

Tommy got back into his Mercedes Benz and headed out today with 12 completed tracks…..Paul Brainard was good enough to come in this morning on no notice and lay down a couple of Dobro tracks to fold into the final 2 mixes and that's a wrap!
