Been a lot of mixing, and mix revisions going on this past week all the while getting to check out daily mixes arriving from James Brown for the New Blitzen Trapper LP…so fun having so many different projects take on their final form!
A Wild Week Of…... Bluegrass with The Yellers, 14 tracks in 2 days/20 hours, A drum Solo/ Track for A GameBoy MLB spot, Finished up with round one of Anya Marina LP and bonus track Mixes, Got into Mixes with Oh Darling..Now, I'm getting a real weekend, First in many many weeks! Yee Haw!
Monday and Tuesday logged 20 hours of Bluegrass-ish with The Yellers and today started Bright and Early with Drums Drums Drums for a PlayStation MLB Spot…..Yee Haw!
A week chalked full of fantastic music culminated tonight with basic tracking of two epic new tunes with Dad Works Hard!…….During the week, I Completed most of the mixing for Anya Marina's new LP along with incredible Bonus Tracks….One featuring Anya Marina, Tristan Prettyman and Jewel Kilcher….
Been Too Busy Here At The Trench To Post But…….Eric Early was in for some additional "Sweetening" today..we re-visited "Man Of Constant Sorrow" for Faro last week and mixed that….. meanwhile…tracked vocals and finished 4 Tracks for Casey Neill yesterday and have been Mixing Like Crazy for Anya Marina…took a break to turn in the master of China Forbes' "The Northern Line" for the "Infinitely Polar Bear" motion picture sound track which we finalized last week….. and,with Oh Darling On Deck…….whew!
Had The Amazing Joe Mengis and Jessie Emerson in to Track With Casey Neill a blistering Rager! Mixed it and 3 others……Good Times :-)
